Hi!
This planter has a 15″ diameter with a 15″ height. It is made from porcelain and fired to 2300 degrees Fahrenheit in an electric kiln. The Caribbean sea blue color comes from adding a tiny bit of copper to the glaze. The dark blue squiggles come from adding cobalt to the glaze. The yellow comes from adding praseodymium to the glaze. Each piece is designed and handmade in Minnesota by local ceramic artists. They are fully vitrified, so they do not absorb liquids and can be put into a dishwasher or microwave. They are not able to go into an oven, which will cause them to crack. They are also completely food safe.
