Hi!
This planter has a 15″ diameter with a 15″ height. It is made from porcelain and fired to 2300 degrees Fahrenheit in an electric kiln. The sandy tan color comes from the natural color of iron in the glaze. Each piece is designed and handmade in Minnesota by local ceramic artists. They are fully vitrified, so they do not absorb liquids and can be put into a dishwasher or microwave. They are not able to go into an oven, which will cause them to crack. They are also completely food safe.
